I am making a bold prediction, John McCain will go negative this last month
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 07:58 PM by Wetzelbill
I have nothing to base this on, especially considering the man's vast integrity, but call it a "gut" feeling.

Granted, I am out of line for suggesting this, he was a POW, you know, but I see no other option. And McCain has conducted his campaign in such an exemplary manner so far, with no effect at all, probably due to Librul media bias, that I'm sure he has to, even though it's against all the goodness in his heart that he believes in, go negative.

So you heard it here first, John McCain's campaign is going to get negative this last month. And maybe even dirty. It's hard to believe, I know, but I'm saying it.

Although, in fairness, for over 5 years of his life, John McCain went without negative campaigning.

I think that's something worth considering.

25. HE DOESN'T HAVE THE CASH TO MAKE IT WORK
he's running out of money.

the RNC might try some shenanigans, but honestly i think that this is the year that negative ads won't work (unless they are true).

mccain himself has to target his expenses with a laser like focus. spending only on states where he can make a difference. we will certainly hear alot about ayres, drugs, etc in the coming month, but its kind of like mccain has already lost his megaphone. no cash = no ads = no media talk.

and palin is going to go down in history as the undoing of their ticket

27. In all seriousness
Yeah I think you are pretty much right. And also it doesn't help McCain much that he has to fight like hell to get some states, like Indiana and North Carolina, that traditionally vote Republican. So instead of counting on those states to be in the bank, he has to fight for them. That hurts him badly in the traditional battleground states because he simply can't focus on them like he should.
