Sarah Palin Unleashed; Thank You Very Much

by Scarletflood

Sat Oct 04, 2008 at 04:05:13 PM PDT

"Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday slammed Sen. Barack Obama's political relationship with a former anti-war radical, accusing him of associating "with terrorists who targeted their own country."
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin lashed out at Sen. Barack Obama's ties to controversial figure William Ayers.

"Palin's attack delivered on the McCain campaign's announcement that it would step up attacks on the Democratic presidential candidate with just a month left before the November general election.

"This is not a man who sees America as you and I do: as the greatest force for good in the world," Palin said at a fundraising event in Colorado, according to a statement released by the McCain-Palin campaign. "This is someone who sees American as imperfect enough to pal around with terrorists who targeted their own country."- CNN.com, 10/4/08

Oh boy!!! Wow!!! There is a higher power, a heaven, Santa Claus, Easter Bunny and unicorns!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!

Sarah Palin is becoming the GOP attack dog and criticizing Senator Obama for his minimal association with former Weather Underground founder Bill Ayers. She is being unleashed and allowed to read from her teleprompters to large, selected, controlled crowds about the Democratic nominee's alleged radical tendencies.

Sarah Palin? I do believe Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa have all come early this year! The Alaska Governor does not know the pandora's box she has just opened up.

This pre-school politician who has been on the scene for five weeks and carries more baggage than an hotel porter is the surrogate John McCain has enlisted to bring the Obama campaign back to earth. This is the same person that couldn't even name the Supreme Court case that she herself criticized two months ago in her Katie Couric interview. And she is the one that has been enlisted to throw down the gauntlet to challenge the Illinois Senator?

Okay, let's start. I will not be too cruel. Eh?

Governor Palin is just this much away from being indicted. In a move that is Roveian in nature, she has refused to answer the Alaska legislature's subpeona to testify about troopergate. A court in the Great White North has said the summons is legal, justified and the Governor has to appear. Thus far, she and her husband, The First Dude and Dudette of our 49th state, have both been warned of the dire consequences if they do not respond.
I'm sure they would like you in jail, Sarah!! Your glasses won't clash with an orange jumpsuit, eh?

The McCain campaign is running the state of Alaska. If they do for our most Northern state what they've done for their candidate, the recent failures on Wall Street will look like a bull market in comparison.
Her knowledge of domestic policy is as good as her comprehension of foreign policy. Let's just say that Senator Joe Biden knew John McCain's positions and record better than Governor Palin, dontcha know. Wink. Wink. Nod. Nod.
The America that Sarah Palin wants has never existed and, hopefully, it never will. Her country would ban books, exorcise witches, drill on every piece of land that's available and cast out anyone that disagrees with her on anything from the price of gas to religion. They can't speak well (Damnit!!! It's New-Clee-er, not Nu-que-lar! Didn't G.W. Bush butcher our language enough!!!), have out of wedlock children, lie, cheat, deceive and do anything they can to perpetuate power.
You can't expand the Vice-President's constitutional, you know.

Why did she attend six colleges? Better yet, she couldn't get a passport, but she had a bit of a holiday in Hawaii when she should have been studying. Great example, Sarah. Oh yeah. I forgot. She and McCain go together well. He finished fifth from the bottom of his college class, partied all the time and wasn't kicked out of the Naval Academy. Do you think his connections helped?
That's just five of the reasons why Senators Obama and Biden could go after her if they wanted. But, they realize that it would be just a waste of time. They have better things to do, like solving all of the crises that McCain and Bush have created. (I just realize how much space that I, too, have wasted on Sarah Palin.)

There are 31 days left until Election Day and the Obama campaign has set its steely eyed focused on issues that are more important than Sarah Palin and these silly attacks. They realize that it's time for the silly season of stupidity to end and discussions that will help us out to begin. The Alaska Governor and the McCain campaign must realize that this tact is as wrong headed as the ideas their Presidential candidate is spreading. There is too much at stake a claim to the high road and move on.

But, if the inexperienced Ms. Palin wants to play this game, we're chomping at the bit. Wink. Wink. Dontcha know.
