lets be amateur speechwriters: what tone, themes should JFK hit
I say good natured indignation:

"I hear that tuesday was "compassionate conservative day" over at the RNC Convention.

If that's true, last night must have been "we were just kidding about tueday" night.

"Last night, Dick Cheney and Zell Miller tried to have us believe that Democrats and Independents support four more years of deficits, distortions, and foreign policy disasters.

Well, they proved something alright, and it wasn't that they speak for Democrats, or Independents, or anyone else except the most radical of the radical right fringe.

Thier hateful words proved that George Bush and Dick Cheney seek not to unite america but to divide it for their own political gain. They proved, that instead of leading america, they'd rather mis-lead america."

1. That he didn't 'VOTE FOR THE WAR'
And that if the 'pukes don't quit SAYING that he did, then he's gonna have to bust some friggin heads.

He voted for the POWER to use military force IF NECESSARY.

In order to present a united front so that SH would let the inspectors come in, thus AVOIDING WAR.

That is, if chimpy hadn't LIED to him personally about his true intentions.

THAT is THE BIGGEST THING Kerry needs to do. CLARIFY that he DID NOT VOTE FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ.

PERIOD.

4. JFK is dead
I really hate the disrespect you show by trying to co-opt his initials for John Kerry. There was one JFK and he is dead.

5. I love your ideas, but please don't call Kerry "JFK". For obvious
reasons, this invites trouble.

Furthermore, my understanding is that Kerry doesn't like it, either.

JK works for me!

Having said that, I hope that Kerry lifts your post word-for-word and uses it all over the country!
