1. I'm sure Blair is begging for a Kerry win
Bush is dragging him down. Blair's administration is collapsing because he's been caving in to Bush too much.

Kerry is the best hope to save Blair's ass.

2. If Tony Blair does "come out" for Kerry, keep your ears on Free Republic.
You will hear a loud "pop" as their heads explode.

4. That Blair would embrace Kerry is...

... a cynical gesture--Blair has been kissing Bush's ass for years now, and to the British public, has no self-respect left.

I would like to see Kerry implement a clear plan to extricate the US from the Middle East with UN support. Once that's in place, if Blair supports that, maybe Blair will have an opportunity to redeem himself with his own public. I don't think the American public should entirely trust Blair right now, simply because he's been Bush's enabler in one of the worst overt displays of imperialism in recent times.

Maybe America has forgotten Tony's pleadings to Parliament to execute the war at Bush's side, but I sure as hell haven't.

edit for syntax
