I don't think this is so far fetched: McCain's health fails
He's a 72 year old man with a poor health history; cancer x4, pow injuries, probable ptsd. I suspect his health is failing under the strain of the campaign- his odd moment this week when he seemed to become quite disoriented on stage is one indicator, as is his retreating to his "ranch" this weekend instead of campaigning. So what happens if his health deteriorates in the next few weeks? Will the MSM talk about it? Will he withdraw? And what happens if he does?

She will crush him just by winking.

2. His health already HAS deteriorated. He had a TIA (mini stroke) the other day.
That's why he was so disoriented. And the facial ticks. Classic signs. There was a post w/link to a doctor's article about how obvious it was that that's what happened. The man is a health train-wreck, and they know it. And as usual, the media is helping cover it up.

3. I've been wondering about that myself
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 11:05 AM by Lorien
he's looking ten years older than he is these days, and he seems even more flustered and irritable. The fact that his running mate sees it as the "Palin/ McCain" ticket has to be getting on his nerves nearly as much as his poll numbers. He's never been a guy who handles being challenged well, and these past two weeks have been VERY challenging. I think that deep down he'd like to quit more than Michigan.

5. If McCain has a serious health issue
they will do whatever they can to try and hide it until after the election. Many independents and I suspect even some Republicans would see Obama as a preferable alternative to a Palin presidency.

7. Good post!
I've been thinking the same thing! Just the other day he retreated to his DC condo to "work the phone". He is OLD & tired!
This issue needs to be addressed in the MSM for sure.

8. Your question, "Will the MSM talk about it?"-----
is the key to McCain's obvious health problems. Why isn't there more talk about his quick 15 min. releasing of health records to a selected few and from what I've heard, they weren't in numerical order which resulted in much confusion and time wasted. 15 min. is not long enough.

10. I think Bush will call off the election until the repubs can nominate
another candidate. Probably an unspecified time but at least a couple years. I mean they will have to go through their whole primary thing again.

11. I think boosh is so anxious to get back to Crawford he can hardly wait.
I don't think presidentin' has been the fun he thought it would be - or rather, not the fun it started out to be. But Cheney on the other hand...

We are in for an interesting ride the next few months, that's for sure!
