I would go so far as to say that it was dishonest and disingenuous. It was a sham, and that is being polite.

Any damn fool can remember a script, and when asked a direct question, ignore it and continue on with the script. How low will this country go?

It was an absolutely abhorant performance. Anyone who says she won that debate last night is either completely intellectually dishonest or blissfully ignorant.

Honestly, it's game over for this country if she should ever be the president. She has no clue.

1. McCain demanded special rules, and it worked. It stopped the free flow and back up questions.
But it didn't convince anyone that she knows anything. If anything it raises more doubts. The only think she accomplished was she didn't blather. But McCain made sure that she wouldn't ahead of time so I am not surprised.

2. There was no debate. It was a string of rw am radio banter.
The pundits who are buying into that shit are nothing but celebrity pop culture promotion shills.

6. Admitedly so, there were talking points and platitudes on both sides last night. But I can say one
about this. At least Joe Bidens remarks were targeted at the questions asked. What Palin did was inexcusable.

I can just see it now. She becomes president and reporters ask her a question about the war and she starts babbling about the price of milk or something. Just off the wall.

It is quit clear that she has no command of the issues nor can she even respond competently about them.

7. That is what I saw as well. Ever since the G.W. John Kerry debates
I find them basically meaningless. JK destroyed G.W. in those debates yet G.W. still one. The Repub base likes incompetent leaders because they don't want gov't to work well. So Palin will do well with the Repub base.

3. she did not answer questions and gave no solutions
just saying we would do the best thing for the American people, what kind of BS is that? Aren't they employed by us, and they should do want we say and want?

4. She was in waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over her head.
Reminded me of a newbie atty who knows he/she knows shit, but just keeps on talking on an issue and digs his/her way to China.
