let's not go overboard here . . . Biden didn't do anything to hurt himself or Obama, but it was hardly an amazing performance . . . both he and Palin talked mostly in rehearsed sound bites and platitudes, and they shed very little light on who they are or what kind of VP they would make . . .

Palin, in fact, may have actually "won" simply by not imploding (or microwaving a cat) on live tv . . .
