Palin will sport bandage in debate
Source: Politico

Sen. Joe Biden will face an injured Sarah Palin in tonight’s debate after the Alaska governor took a spill jogging around running mate John McCain’s Sedona, Ariz., home.

Palin reportedly hurt her hand while taking a break from debate prep Monday.

The Alaska governor arrived in St. Louis today wearing a bandage on the injured hand and is expected to sport it during the vice presidential debate.

Palin will not be the only injured participant in tonight’s debate, as moderator Gwen Ifill broke her ankle Monday. Ifill visited Washington University, the site of tonight’s debate, in a wheelchair Wednesday.

Palin’s camp says the injury should not affect her performance.

6. Reuters asked about that, actually
According to some wank I heard on Faux news, Reuters asked the debate folks if they werew checking for earpieces, used it as an example of how terribly rude the media is to Palin.

Edited on Thu Oct-02-08 05:51 PM by UpInArms
shouldn't that be "house"?

A "home" is where people live - or should it be called

"John McCain's Sedona, Ariz., 11th home"?

(edited because that stupid nonsensical apostrophe thing doesn't always work)

9. Coordination is key.
it may explain why pukes take a dive anytime they do something physical, they cant multitask. "Chew a pretzel" and stand, cannot be done. Jog and think, cannot be done. Debate a huge economic crisis, and campaign for the presidency, cannot be done. What is it with these one track minded people. I can text message on my phone write on DU, watch TV, download music, play chess on my computer and talk to my wife..all at the same time.

24. McCain already had the rules modified for Sarah weeks ago. And if her plan is really to
attack Biden go for it. That will not help someone who has sounded so ignorant during interviews. They will wonder who does she think she is attacking him when she can't even name a newspaper. It is a very bad strategy in my opinion.
