I see these threads as mainly for the people WATCHING the show, so the people WATCHING the show can react to what we JUST SAW AND HEARD with other people WATCHING the show.

Its unfortunate that some people are at work, or don't get MSNBC, and I thank those posters who provide details.

8. well yeah but..if people are watching then they are seeing it

and making those of us not watching it wonder what is going on.

Another problem was that there were 4 threads about it and each started off very vaguely.

it seems to be happening here a lot lately. I guess I should just chill. sorry.

She wouldn't allow David Gergen (sp?) to complete his assessment of Zell Miller in terms of DG having grown up in the south. DG understood how close to the edge Zell came to calling the Dem Party a treasonous Party and this was not acceptable as a proper keynote speech. Laura couldn't seem to control her impulse to butt in and Tweety told her several times to allow DG to complete his thought. She was pissed but tried to smile her way through. Behind them, the crowd would cheer David and boo Laura.

7. mentioned that there was a racisim issue with Zell's speech,

nobody will get specific about what it was. Southern strategy somebody murmurs. Then it's like they all realize at once they don't want to go there so they drop it.
