Here is how I think Quaylin will debate tonight.......
Based on the old debates and the old people who know her.....

They have force fed her about 10 topics to return to on every question. Like "Maverick" or "Change" or "Unity", etc. She will not address the topic but will go back to these talking points constantly. I am sure she has about 5 Obama issues that she thinks will hurt him. But Biden has the responses to these that are way better than she can address.

I think all Biden needs to do it address the question, point out how they differ from McLame and not address any of the Quaylin issues at all. Don't mention anything to do with her experience or her trooper gate or anything to do with her. Just talk about Obama and his plan and how it differs from McLame.

The moderator will really have to work to keep her on topic.

1. The only problem I see with that is it will be framed that Biden was scared of her if he doesn't
If he doesn't respond, they will say he is scared of confronting Palin on the issues and points she raised whether they have merits or not.

On the other hand, if he comes across too confrontational to the shit she spews from her mouth, then he will get lambasted for being rough on Sarah.

Honestly, I would rather run the risk of the second being true than I would be branded as indecisive or scared. This election is about leadership and being decisive, making tough decisions. I think there's a fine line that Biden can walk between the two and I'm sure he's practiced well in advance of this. I've got faith in him.

2. Biden will need to frame the debate. "Let me answer your question, specifically" or
"This is what I think you are really inquiring about" after Palin goes folksy. Really let the American people know he is answering the question and Palin isn't. He also needs to call her out and try and make her explain herself, ask for specifics examples (that will fuck her up entirely).

I hope to also see Biden call her out and correct any mmisstatements that she will make about Obama and himself in a forceful way.
