Used to be a fine paper ... I haven't read it for about 10 years ....
the people in Iowa love that paper .... especially the republicans.

2. It used to very well written
Acting nasty @ the Des Moines Register in Iowa is really dumb.

Besides it is read in IL, NB, MN, WI, ..... among lots of "good folk"

8. But I walked by a newsstand once...
Obviously she never learned that bit of humility that comes from spending an idle day in a university library.

Maybe an entertaining debate element to counter the inevitable name-dropping -for Biden, give no answer that doesn't include citations from three sources and two supreme court decisions.

10. The Des Moines Register is small potatoes compared to the
Rolling Stone article. OMG - I've read about half of it and it has to be the most scathing item ever written about a presidential candidate.

15. I saw someone post yesterday..
that Iowa was one of the states that just did a huge voter purge.. not sure if that's connected... but it is quite odd.

18. No one can explain that
No one can explain why is doing editorial board meetings which will have no influence rather than doing town halls or rallies
