her. Anything to make sure his VP does not fall flat on her face.
At this point, Gwen Ifill will have to bend over backwards to make sure there is no appearance of bias toward Obama..so in effect she will be biased toward the barracuda. I think it might be a good idea to have someone else moderate the debate..but it should be done immediately, so there is no postponement.

4. Now..THAT is a great idea. I am sure the repukes will try to stall things long
enough to either create the need for a postponement...or what they are hoping for is a cancellation.

11. Gwen Ifill is a pro. She won't have any problem moderating this debate.
I would be very surprised to see her show any bias in any way.

3. That's nice..maybe he remembers
the debate when she was moderating John Edwards and dick cheney.

I've read complaints that she gave dick a pass and was disrespectful to Edwards.

I'm not saying she won't be perfectly objective to both sides now. Don't really have any hopes about tom brokaw for the next debate with Obama and mccain.

6. I've just been reading some reminders
on another site and it stirred my memory, too.

It should be interesting to see how she moderates this time with both sides watching with intense scrutiny. There has to be people out there who qualify who can be totally professional moderators.

So important.

8. I don't believe that McSame actually wants an impartial moderator. He MUST
know that an impartial moderator means an overwhelming victory for Biden.

7. Believe it or not, McCain is not very Rovian.
He does not always utter everything for the sake of political victory. This does not make him one bit better than Rove, but it makes him more stupid.
