Post Turtle
While suturing a cut for a 75-year old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Sarah Palin and her bid to be a heartbeat away from being President.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Sarah Palin is a post turtle.'

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was.

The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle.'

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain. 'You know she didn't get up there by herself, she doesn't belong up there, she doesn't know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of idiot put her up there to begin with.'

1. Bill Clinton related this story during a rally in Fla. today
The story is a good one and so is Bill, in his own way. Let's face it, he was one hell of a ride during his presidency. He made it look easy, hence, the idiots voted in bush. Now Hillary took us for granted, strickly my goofy opinion. She should have given the masses more respect. Her silly stories just didn't fly. Sad part is she really didn't need to act like she was tough, she is smart. Many of us were scared she was playing to the repubs along with the dems and that won't work for many. Time and chance allowed Bill to walk that fine line. Rule books need to go out the window. Honesty is a great thing. Politicians should try it more often.
