Elisabeth Hasselbeck Fumbles When Asked Why Sarah Palin Would Make A Good President On "The View"

"The View" heated up over politics again Wednesday morning, specifically around the subject of Sarah Palin's readiness to be President.

"She doesn't know anything about it!" Whoopi Goldberg said, which set off co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

"In terms of experience, she's actually been leading a microcosm of the United States of America," Elisabeth responded.

Things heated up even more after Elisabeth took a swipe at Joe Biden, prompting Barbara Walters to say, "Every single day you never ever say, maybe there's another point, so this is your chance....Tell us now why you think that Sarah Palin would make a very good President."

Elisabeth's response? "Tell me why Barack Obama is qualified to be President."

Watch as Elisabeth eventually puts together a list which includes "she has been in charge of the National Guard during a time of war":

After the "all of them" soundbite, Palin goes on to say that Alaska isn't isolated and that Alaska is a microcosm of America. That's what Elizabeth Hasselbeck is referring to.

Yeah, she must be working hard for her McCain Action points here. Everything she's said is just regurgitated RW talking points. The only thing that is added is that she's semi-attractive and thus TV ready. But it doesn't take away from the fact that she's even ditzier than Palin herself.

how either Palin or Hasselbeck can say that Alaska is a microcosm of the U.S. Do they have any diversity at all really? How many races,religions,cultures,are represented there? Jesus, they throw around a word with more than one syllable, you would think that they would at least bother knowing the definition of the word.
