I called her today hoping to line her up as a guest. The guy from the station called me up about five minutes before that, saying he'd been ill and had meant to call me for several days. Could I do it tomorrow? Well, hell, let's try! So I remembered this column of hers and how much I'd enjoyed it, and I'd called her back then to say thanks for writing it and making me feel better! She has an almost three-decade background at the San Francisco Chronicle, before moving to Indiana - which she loves. Interesting woman, really smart and articulate. I can't wait!!!
