She's a rabid McCain devotee and thinks Palin is so smart and wonderful but she said she couldn't bear to watch the unfair treatment she expects Sarah to get Thursday night. Her husband and mother agreed and they're planning a late dinner out instead. Translation?

I believe Gwen, the moderator, is a conservative or at least someone with conservative leanings. If I remember correctly, her husband has done some work for them. The last two times she was on Bill Maher's show, she had to disclose her husband was working on some project for the RNC (I believe) and in her next appearance, she defended Sarah Palin against the panel's attacks. So I find this curious for I'm afraid she will not ask foreign policy questions and serve up softball questions.
