Obama is handling the "bailout" plan perfectly

by his positioning of it as a necessary evil.

And his reiterating over and over that it is the culmination of failed Bush economic policies.

It is hardly a sellout to reluctantly support a plan which will mean the difference between a short, shallow recession and one which could devastate a lot of middle income and poor families.

It is called being realistic and exercising leadership.

1. Hanging back and not grandstanding to push it or take credit was good move nt

As though it worked real well for him to butt into it.
