5. He tried to say that it was Obama's fault for injecting politics into
the debate over the bailout, that Congress needs to act and pass the bill. However, he sounded very tired, almost humiliated.

10. He didn't sound good, and he walked straight off the stage immediately
after his statement.

Maybe because he looks bad after having old Mittens come out and praise his leadership in getting the bailout passed, right before the bailout failed. I read that here, and if true, how many times this week will McCain look stupid? Limitless potential here for increasing dumb moves. His whole blame Obama deal was almost embarassing to listen to.

11. Or another reason for his defeatist attitude?
Maybe it just sunk in on him that if everyone is flat out broke, and we are entering a depression, nobody is gonna drink beer. In fact, if they do, they will likely learn to home brew, and bam, there goes his beer allowance money from Cindy's distributorship. Ouch, that will cramp his 13 cars and 7 home existence.

Bet his and Cin-Cin's bank accounts look like Hiroshima right now - a large percentage instantly vaporized. Awww, Johnny, I hope someone lends you a hand through these tight times.

3. I could hear him from the other room and he sounded too mellow, too subdued.
There was no emotion in his voice at all.

4. and stupid. . His campaign is the gang that couldn't shoot straight..
They declared him the victor in a debate he hadn't agreed to attend. . .

They gave him credit for leadership in the passage of a bill that didn't pass!

I can't wait for the next episode.. Funniest series EVAH!

7. Thanks McLame. You really moved things along. And thanks for telling Congress
they need to get back together. I guess no one told you they are meeting on Weds. or Thursday and should meet tomorrow if the holiday isn't an issue. But why would anyone tell you anything.
