Ohio Court rules in favor early voting- It is on in Ohio
I do not know if many have paid attention with all the bailout talk but Ohio has a 5 day period starting tomorrow and ending on the 6th of Oct that allows voters to register and vote at the same time. Of course the GOP in Ohio sued to try and stop this however the State Supreme Court has on a 4 to 3 decision sided with the Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner that this window does exist for the five days as she has stated. Why is this important? Well we have all talked about getting people to the polls, the goal in Ohio is to go around and find any unregistered people and/or College students and have them register and vote that day. This will free us up to concentrate on the regular voters on election day... Many groups supporting Obama are in on this drive so we need to watch closly.

One more thing: drove to Pennsylvania on a route that took me thru South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Here is a break down of the States from a drivers view.

South Caroling we can forget about- saw many anti Obama Billboards on I-85 (we have a better chance in TX)

North Carolina will be tuff even though we are leading in the polls. Did get a chance to hear OBama radio ad (never will get that in Georgia) that talked about what Iraq is doing with its surplus (can you believe building a 600 ft ferris wheel like the one in England) while we are spending 10 Billion a month there. Still this one comes down to turn out.

Virginia: looks good seen many Obama posters ( one big one on I-81)and bummper stickers even in the rural areas. If we do well in those areas we can win the State.

Maryland: short state to drive thru so unable to really see but I know it is in the bag..

Pennsylvania: Many, many Obama sticker all around I think this one is coming back to us. Plus talked to some People just to see if registered and all said they were and would not miss this election.
