Let me try to understand the Freepers' criticism of Katie Couric....
Paraphrasing:

Palin: "McCain has a record of reform."

Couric: "Can you give me an example?"

Palin: "There are many."

Couric: "Ok. How about telling me one specific example."

Palin: "I'll get back to you."

Freepers: "Couric's playing 'Gotcha!'"

Have I got that right?

:eyes:

1. Yup...
Anyone who accuses Couric of being part of some vast left wing media conspiracy needs their heads cleaned.

FReepers are beyond Republican...they're delusional.

2. Don't try to understand that "logic"
Katie Couric asked Palin some examples of McCain's record of reform. Palin replies that there are "many". Couric then asked for an example of those "many" examples of reform. Palin replies "I'll have to get back to you" after a few seconds of silence. If you have more than a 2 digit IQ, that exchange should be rather obvious.

3. Don't waste your time trying
to figure them out. You'd have better luck arguing with a two year old.

btw: I'll never forget your Japanese restaurant smack down! T'was delicious. Hope the bride has forgiven you. :hi:

6. Dead from the neck up
Even I could give an example of McCain's "reform".

"Well, how about campaign finance reform? The biggest bill in campaign finance reform is named after him, McCain-Feingold."

That she couldn't even pull that one out, even after a month's worth of coaching, tells volumes about her stupidity. :dunce:

9. Example of McCain reform - once he was rebuked for his Keating 5
involvement he eventually got around to joining Russ Feingold with the McCain-Feingold bill on campaign financing. During this election he has broken nearly every provision of that bill. That is McCain reform!
