Seen this? "Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement"
Looks like it's from Blunt's website. It's the most ungrammatical statement this side of W. and Palin, and I have no idea what they are talking about here. Anybody able to enlighten me?

Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement:

JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.

“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.”

9. I could be passed out and still never write that incoherently.
Having a pedestrian glass of Cabernet on a Saturday night.

Could drink two bottles of Mad Dog 20/20 and still not write that badly. But then, I'm not a Repuke.

4. Somebody posted a message Jim Robinson (freep #1) sent to Obama's camp yesterday re:
Missouri and free speech, but, yeah, this governor's "press release" is so badly written as to be incomprehensible.

Say, is this a joke? Or, worse yet, a TRAP?!

lol

5. He's a lame duck.
He just sits in the Gov's Office all day and issues press releases to make himself feel important and involved in something relevant. He has classic little man syndrome. And, he is a little man - I was stuck in an elevator one time with him and his entourage.

He is the biggest moron and loser. He is irrelevant and thankfully, soon his stench will be gone from Jefferson City.

10. Is that what the press release says? (You can treat this as rhetorical if you like.)
I mean these could be lines from the next Shrek cartoon. You know, the Land of Far Far Away...

will not let them get away with lying about Obama in Missouri. Apparently Obama must man up and let himself be smeared by the right wing and Republican party. The only thing Obama has done is set up a truth squad which so far hasn't done anything to warrant this ridiculous statement.

11. Sounds like there will be a Missouri group to refute lies that McCain says about Obama.
The group will include Missouri prosecutors, lawmakers, etc. Blunt Trauma is implying that the group will arrest people who disagree whith Obama.

Baby Blunt is a joke, and has been a lame duck since his 2nd or 3rd month in office when he purged 80,000 Missourians from the Medicaid rolls.

Interesting that Bob McCulloch is an Obama guy, for some reason I thought he was a conservative (or maybe he's just not that into McCain).

No kidding folks. This is happening right here in what is left of Democracy in America. It seems that Barack I Love FISA Obama is practicing for his Planned borderline Communist government in Missouri–or so he thinks.

I was nearly speechless when I saw the video below. What a freaking thug Barack Obama truly is. We are worried about his Marxist Socialist pals? This is down righta Communist behavior! No wonder Putin and N. Korea’s “Dear Leader” think he’s swell. No wonder every whackjob failed fringe anti-democracy, anti-capitalism party from the 60s loves him.

The threat?: If somebody in Missouri does an Ad that Barack Obama deems “A Lie,” then the sheriff and the State Prosecutor are coming for you. And as we all know, when it comes to Barack Obama, EVERYTHING ANYBODY says is “A Lie,” even if it’s true.

See the Video first and let your jaw drop. Then see Governor Blunt’s horrified and disgusted press release.

This is happening right here in the United States of America, compliments of Obama and his goon squad. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

THE TRUTH SQUAD COMETH FOR YOU!

The Freepers picked the story up from these lunatics. I think they got bored of making up stories about the religion of Obama or blank tapes with static that they play backwards.

I was poking around and they were lathering up about Missouri. Much becomes clear now. Or, as clear as it gets with freeps.

I'm sure this idiot supported the greatest affront to American civil rights to be enacted - the "Patriot Act". :eyes:
