And I agree. I think it's very possible. Damn, that would be nice for President Obama. :-)

2. Don't get too excited.
They're counting Traitor Joe among the Democrats, so the 'real' count is actually one less.

The map looks good, but I sure wish we could get rid of that pig Norm Coleman!

4. Traitor Joe would be in a very sad and lonely place if he continued to side with the repukes
under president Obama and a heavily Dem congress.

10. lieberman is to the left on most things. he's just a pro-israel psych hawk.
but he's weak and will come back into the fold when he has no choice.
if he's a good doggie, we'll accept him.

6. Exactly! We need 61 not 60 because of Traitor Joe
Let's hope Obama has some coattails and a huge turnout knocks off an unexpected Repug to help us reach 61 so we don't need Joe.

8. not so. it's hard to whip lieberman into shape in a senate barely controlled by
dems. it's far more doable in a heavily dem senate. Joe does NOT want to spend 4 years in senatorial purgatory.

11. Only if every single senate race where we have a realistic shot goes our way
I think it's misleading to say there's a good chance of a filibuster proof senate majority, I mean for one thing our candidate in NC has only very recently gotten a VERY slim lead over Dole, it's well within the margin of error there.

Also for some reason the New Hampshire race is tightening up a lot all of a sudden where we had previously held a big lead, anyone know the reason for that?

I'm really doubtful about us taking Maine or Minnesota to, and we have to win at least one of those seats to reach 60 (And we have to win Mississippi B as well, while our candidate, a former governor, is behind there, I can still see the tide possibly turning there considering the incumbent has never won statewide election before).

12. I disagree with that report
If Obama can win by 5% or more then i think we will gain 30+ seats in the house.
