Something I noticed about Michelle and Cindy...

After the debate, Michelle and Cindy joined their husbands on stage. Totally common, but I noticed something. Barack and Michelle embraced and looked so loving. Michelle looked like she could not have been prouder of him! Their body language was that of equals - because in their marriage, they are equals. So gracious and REAL. Barack looks at Michelle like every woman wants to be looked at by her spouse. They adore each other.

The McCain's looked dour and like they were leaving a funeral. Cindy looked somewhat frightened of joining her husband on stage, and behaved like the "good wife" submissive, meek, and quiet...always 3 steps behind him. She just looked ready to go home and get the screaming fit over with. She knew that he did not perform well, and that she was going to hear about it and possibly be blamed for it.

Last night I said that she looks like she reminds him (often) that she has the b*alls in their family. For a woman with unlimited income I would think that she would dress a lot better than she does, more sophisticated and stylish. Insead she looked like a cheap, tawdry, over-bleached-blonde in a "look at me!" outfit that won't be copied by many. Nancy would be proud.

she never looks cheap. At least not in any pic I've ever seen of her. Girl can obviously spend some buckies on clothes. I do agree that she always seems emotionally stunted around him. I strongly suspect he's an emotional abuser, if not a physical one.

The Obamas feel "real", the McCain's don't. They both feel look like they need each other there for reasons other than to each other, if that makes sense. McSame needs her for the eye candy, she needs him for stature. Political convenience, I guess.

26. Okay. To be fair, I would say the Obama's have a true love affair and the McCains are just average.

Part of being in a relationship is supporting the other person and the Obama's do it naturally,instinctively and genuinely. That's special and unfortunately not as common as it should be.
