| I can taste it, now! Obama's making headway with Independents |
|
This shift in momentum has gotten me really excited for the first time in a long time. Obama's going to break bigger in the polls next week, and now the election is at the top of most people's minds. The yard signs are really starting to pop up. The volunteer efforts and campaign events are in full force. New volunteers signing every day. New voters are registering (ACORN and Campaign). All the seeds that have been planted in Obama's massive ground game are sprouting. He seems to have the favor of the media (more than Gore and Kerry). And there's so much going on under the radar of the media that I actually feel we really can influence the election this time, HOPE doesn't seem so hokey anymore.
If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend stopping by your local campaign office this weekend and put in a couple of hours. Let's break this lead wide open!
