Morning Joe talking about McSame not looking at Obama, "called it visually awkward".
"...feeds into belief that McSame is arrogant..."

Joe is one of the biggest jerks on MSNBC cause when he's wrong he gets condescending...

When the characterless have lost Joe then that's more good news for Obama

1. McCain was practicing for the debate in Washington the night before. He knew all along he
was going. It was all a stunt according to Andrea Mitchell. What a phony ass.

5. His campaign has been one failed stunt after another. He should start wearing
one of those shirts with the stick figure falling over that reads, "I do all my own stunts."

8. Not another gimmick!
Geeze. I think they should figure out the gimmicks and then not do them.....cause none of them have worked thus far, including the Palin one.

2. You think not looking at your opponent seems arrogant?
McCain showed his true colors last night. He was snide and nasty.

3. Also awkward is that his VP is MIA
sequestered in protective custody ...to protect McCain from Palin.

That's pretty limp.

4. It's going to be the move that ruins it for Johnny McSame
I bet you ten to one he can't control that and here's why I think this.

Barack Obama is the enemy.

This isn't old John, having a heated discussion with a group of like-minded repubs. This isn't the hearty but lovable scrapper, working his way up to the big match. This is it. All or nothing. The last chance ever. An allegorical death match. He won't get another chance to run for an office he's desired for decades.

Some old survival skills are kicking in and they ain't pretty.

6. to me it seemed like McCain was annoyed to have a black treated as his equal....
I could be off base, but that is sure how it looked to me. Just like back in the 60's when good old boys suddenly had to let "coloreds" eat at the same counter with them.

10. Could be race, but could also be age. I got the feeling that McNasty didn't
think Obama had put in his time yet, which is why he was so condescending. He came off as a lecturing, bitter, angry scold last night.

11. You're not off base. Even worse than
having to eat at the same counter was the fact that the colored guys were now looking them in the eye.

For centuries, it was one of the worst of offenses for a black man to look any white person straight in the eye. Even when I was a young woman, I can remember instances of having a conversation with an older black person who simply would not look me in the eye, no matter how comfortable I tried to make them in the conversation.

I have puzzled over McCain's strange behavior last night, and I don't know exactly how to explain it. Was it his natural reaction to having an uppity black man looking him dead on and telling him he was wrong?

Or was he instructed to act like this so the bigots (even those who don't realize they are bigots) would pick up on it?

Wat

12. Above the Law
Honestly, I think McCain has always thought he was above the law...from the time he was in school...and will until he dies.

Oh, and Morning Joe, "belief"?! Uh, I think it's a FACT that McC is arrogant.
