We had a plan to fix this mess,McCain decided to fly into Washington like underdog, Bush has a photo-op for McCain, deal off the table. Now the Republicans are posturing on tv saying that they have a new/revised plan.

What it sounds like to me is that the Republicans are just trying to say that they are the ones who are trying to fix this and they don't want to be upstaged. McCain will come out tonite and say "Look, I went to D.C. to try and fix this, I want to make sure taxpayers are protected, blah blah blah...

Do the repubs realize that playing politics with taxpayer money is pissing people off...?

1. Pretend to be at odds with Bush because many of them are running for reelection.

2. Help McCain and Palin with their justification to delay the debates by prolonging the crisis.
