The San Francisco Examiner endorsed McCain?
http://www.sfexaminer.com/opinion/The_Examiner_endorses_McCain-Palin.html

I get they're not liberal, but still, how can they endorse him after all the bullshit that went down the past two weeks?

1. Are they a Moonie paper?
I keep waiting for the Washington Times to endorse McBush.

3. They also said they were going to replace the word "progressive" with "far leftist" and "extremist"
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 01:59 PM by ReadTomPaine
They are a RW paper run by a billionaire religious anti-gay extremist named Philip Anschutz. That tells you all you need to know. It may be amazing to some, but there are really no good, large liberal newspapers in the SF Bay area. The printed media there is stunningly bad. It's a disgrace. SFist.com is probably the best place to get a handle on local stories.

5. Haven't both McChicken and Palin made fun of San Francisco?
So if they brag about this "endorsement", take them to task.

Last I checked, the Examiner is run by a Repig with ties to Bush... some Asian guy... forget the name and don't give a shit to find out...

When the Chron went away and the Examiner became a fish-wrapper, decent newspapers were dead.

6. This comment makes sense...

"One has to remember that a newspaper's endorsements don't necessarily reflect the feelings of its readers or the news staff; but that of the ownership. I would imagine that this endorsement was reflects the opinion and direction of the Examiner's out of town owner."
