Check Out Our Obama Office Grand Opening!!

First Ever Presidential campaign office in our town of 8,000. We had our Grand Opening a couple weeks ago, at least 300 people turned out. We have a steady stream, and we're on Hwy 101 so we get a lot of tourists too. Oh, and young people can stop complaining about the geezers after looking at this bunch.

We could not believe the food, people just kept coming and coming. We had food for a week after. It was just crazy. Shrimp, cheeses, hummus spread, fruits and veggies, trays of deviled eggs, nacho platters, beyond belief.

I am completely anti-social otherwise. But I always have a ton of fun volunteering on campaigns.

54. Sadly, it's gotten harder and harder for me to be around people at all.

I enjoyed it when I did it in the last few elections, but the last couple of years it's just gotten real bad. A mixture of serious agoraphobia and being flat out asocial has really put a dent in my activities.

The office space, all the staff, the food, the phones, the power. We even had some people go together to print buttons and rally signs, which we're reselling. The campaign contributions go to Obama though.

Our Mayor is a Repub and has his nose out of joint over it. Says nobody cares about national politics, except to see how much their social security check is going up. Asshole.
