Palin: What are we supposed to see in her?
The press and the republicans (until just recently) were talking about how liberals were in a panic because of how awesome Palin is. I just don't get it. What am I supposed to see in her?

When you were a kid, did you ever look forward to going on a camping trip with the scouts only to find out that your mom is going to be one of the adult leaders on the trip? That's how cool Sarah Palin is.

They're really playing up the MILF angle, too. Come on Republicans, she just had a baby for cryin' out loud!

She's about as cool as my mother hanging out with my grandfather (except that I actually liked both of them).

11. Despite the "mom jeans", that second picture is far more attractive than...
any photos I have seen of that Peggy Hill lookalike from the frozen north.

7. The whole angle IS actually kinda sexist. Palin has been played up like a freak show attraction.
This person is tough. This person likes to hunt. This person is a staunch conservative.

...and SHE'S a WOMAN!?!?!?

How wacky! A strong, smart woman! Have you ever seen anything so CRAAAAAAAAAZY!?!?

Also, check out that rack! Hubba hubba!

Really it's sick. Women everywhere should be offended at this. Of course, as a man, it's easy for ME to say that... but my wife said it too. So it makes me feel a "bit" better about it.

9. She's a "real" woman
She does all those "man things", "keeps her figure" and "adores her man", all at the same time.

I actually know a lot of rural women like her. Most of them know they aren't qualified to be in the White House.

14. Growing up in the 1950s I never knew any woman
who had 5 kids. I most certainly would have been horrified at that as an only child. I knew a couple of families with 3 kids living in tiny 1 or 2 bedroom apartments. They constantly said how they hated that they had no privacy.

I was fortunate in that my parents knew what they were doing and made the right choices.

As a young girl, I would never have considered a Sara Palin to be any role model. As a grown woman, I would be be stark raving out of my mind. There are Hockey Moms and then there are Hockey Moms. She is not my kind.

26. My mom had 5 kids
I don't know how she did it. She worked when the family needed her to work, but she stayed home at times to take care of us. She was a registered nurse. She helped out with Dad's business. I have one child, and she takes up every bit of my spare time.

18. Good hair? Big boobs? Reminds me of Kathryn Harris or whatever her name was in FL.
What IS it with the Repubs liking their political women to have big hair and big boobs?

Even though I'm not running for anything, I guess I better start stocking up on hairspray and pricing boob jobs, if Palin gets into office. There's already a several month wait to order the eyeglasses she wears. Seriously.
