they can't adjust well to the argument being for all effect, age inappropriate.

It is almost like calling someone like myself out for not going to the first Gulf War, despite it taking roughly the same time as basic takes with even less substance. Obama is way too young for Viet Nam and too old to come to the defense of Kuwait or Kosovo. During total peace time there's nothing that much more compelling about going into the service versus being a community organizer. Granted, only the most braindead go there but they try.
