1. I can sort of understand other government employees being told to
refuse subpoenas for whatever reason, but Todd Palin is a freakin' plain and simple citizen. Like you and me. And you tell me what would happen if you were subpoenaed by your legislature to appear and you just said "F... you".

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26777544/

"Todd Palin, husband of the Alaska governor, on Thursday announced he would refuse to testify. Palin had been subpoenaed to appear Friday in the probe. McCain-Palin spokesman Ed O'Callaghan said Todd Palin no longer believes the Legislature's investigation is legitimate."

And it sounds like the Alaska legislature has no ability or will to do anything about it.

8. How many of US could get away with this?
Gee, maybe I'll stop paying my taxes and just tell the IRS their investigation isn't 'legitimate'.

I'm sick to the bone of our overlords being above the law.

14. You said it!
That tells me one thing.... GUILTY!!

And the deliberate stall tactics so that all testimony just coincidentally happens after Election Day make it that much more obvious.

6. Are the Dems going to mention this?
I'm tired of this kind of thing beig ignored by the corporate media, but it's worse when our side won't even touch it.

12. He was subpoenaed by a court of law! It has nothing to do with...
executive privilege! He is not part of the Governor's staff!!! Arrest him if he refuses to honor the subpoena!!!!

11. Subpoenas are optional, right?
That's what makes our legal system work. No one ever has to respond to a subpoena. Jury duty too. And taxes.

13. How about hauling his ass off to jail along with the AG
and ask the one pointed question,

"How would you like to spend the rest of your natural Life in this cell?"

Maybe they can fine them $10,000 a day until he testifies?

Listen you little TinPot Shadow Govenor Dictator, if You don't follow the law then why should we? Round up a posse, take him in..

Here's a thought, looks like Mr Secession has decided that the State of Alaska's Govt is NOT legitimate, eh?

Spread THAT meme around..
