CNN poll Obama 48% (0) McSame 44% (-4) in FLORIDA!!!
FLORIDA: 1pm est. The new CNN poll shows Florida, the state that decided the 2000 presidential election and thought to lean in McCain's direction this year, at a dead heat at 48-48. More: "When Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, and Cynthia McKinney are added to the choices the 9/14-16 poll has it Obama 48%, McCain 44%." And: "Sixty-seven percent of Florida voters support expanded offshore drilling."

11. Great job! Thanks!
I was wondering -- How do you find voters? I went out, and a friend of mine went out, and it was hard to find people who weren't registered. I think that's because we're in Portland, though, and people here tend to be quite politically aware and active. Maybe I should go out to a suburb to try.

5. Yeah, really, that's the least they can do, huh?
I mean, Saturday Night Live is not really "live" for us, so they owe us.

Lots of folks down there surviving on retirement and social security. Security being what they'd hoped to have...

15. That's not just all though...
there are NO JOBS here, at all. If you need to make over 20K a year here now, you are fucked. I quit a 50K a year job 2.5 years ago, thinking that I could "just get another", and I have been looking ever since. Going to interviews where they bait & switch the pay, by the time you get to the interview. Happened to me all 4 times I went to an interview. AND, the number was aways 10-20K less, than they had previously said. I started to realize that they bait you to get you to the interview, and hope you will take less money. I said thanks, but no thanks. ;-)

I was always sitting across the table from upper management, thinking; I'm smarter than this jack ass, and he makes about 3 times as much as they want to pay me. I was a DM, and the gap between DM and regionals has changed now. They all think a DM should be in the 20's, and regionals--$50's.

NOT.

Fortunately, I had a side business, which has kept me floating all this time, but it has been rough at times, not knowing when that "big order" would come in. I became very frugal over the past few years. Especially with utilities.
