How can we trust them? Dems Will Win has it posted in this forum below. It is the one Begala lied about the other day, the one that had Dean 46% to Bush 51%.

How dare they spin their polls until they come out just like they want them to. Their excuse, it was the holidays and people did not know what the heck they were doing.

That is absolutely insulting to the people on their phone poll.

1. say what?
People suddenly lose their ability to answer questions over the holidays? Then why is the stock market open? Why are emergency rooms? Why are firehouses and stores and government offices? Heck, why have TV? If people just get stupid over the holidays then shut down the whole country.

3. CNN is a joke.

They have an agenda. Their agenda is to get Bush reelected.

STOP WACTCHING. Write them and let them know that you realize that they have an agenda.

5. Here is a story and poll from yesterday. They are not telling the truth.
See the other posts on their polls in this forum. They are playing games with polls and we all need to be very on guard with them. All candidates do.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/01/05/elec04.poll.democrats.poll/
SNIP..."Among those surveyed in the poll, the strongest anti-Dean candidate is Wesley Clark, the only Democrat who keeps Dean under 50 percent in hypothetical two-way match-ups.

But even against the former NATO commander, Dean has a 46 percent to 32 percent edge among respondents, the poll found.

With Dean getting only 22 percent of the vote when all nine candidates are listed (more than double the second-place challenger), it is tempting to assume that nearly eight in 10 registered Democrats don't want Dean as their party's standard-bearer.

But Dean clobbers the opposition in "what-if" head-to-head pairings with his strongest rivals: Dean over Lieberman, 50 percent to 32 percent; Dean over Kerry 51 percent to 29 percent; Dean over Gephardt 53 percent to 28 percent.

likely voters surveyed, Bush wins 51 percent to 46 percent for Dean; only Lieberman gets that much support from likely voters in other match-ups.

THIS is the poll they debunked today, and it is on their website yesterday. What fools our media are, and what fools we are for fighting among ourselves and not fighting back to them.

10. The media is doing what they do...controlling the Dem primary.
They are keeping it in chaos so noone knows what to believe and various camps see light where there should be dark and vice versa.

That's the problem with following a race based on "process"...there's not much to hang your hat on and the corporate media is not looking to help the Democrats.

6. Can somebody give me a quick overview
of the problem here? Honestly, I wasn't following it closely the last couple days.

Was the 51/46 poll wrong? What were the real numbers? Thanks.

They just tried to ignore, then tried to debunk it today.

See my post in this thread about the long article from yesterday. They are lying and spinning and twisting and turning.

They will do this about all our candidates if we let them

Begala did not even quote this poll, he lied also.

It was mentioned in this thread, but I am still trying to figure out which data they changed. Did CNN change the website? Did CNN omit data to produce this story??

15. Ok, so on TV they said a 20% spread, but website is Bush 51%,Dean 46%
Judy Woodruff went back to old polling data from two weeks ago to find data more favorable to Bush where he had a 20% lead over Dean. So, Woodruff was in effect debunking the new data where Dean was much closer.

IS THAT WHAT HAPPENED? DID I FIGURE IT OUT?
