A few random RNC thoughts.....

* I hear time after time how much they respect the troops and how gracious they are for they're service to the country. Hmmm, I can think of one troop off the top of my head who they don't seem to respect that much at all. Maybe they should edit the message a little bit to read "We are gracious for your service to our country and bestow upon you our utmost respect.....unless you're beating us in the polls."



* I listened to Arnold's speech on the radio on the way home. I'm still trying to convince myself that it actually happened. Here we have the national convention of one of the two major parties in the United States: should we talk about issues?....or make quirky puns centering around decade old summer blockbusters? I think the answer is clear. The man actually used the words "TERMINATE," and "GIRLIE MAN." In the most important speech in his life. And the crowd ate it up. My friends, this is the Kindergarten Cop giving a major political speech in prime-time on network TV. We're living in a freaking cuckoo clock.



I had more on my mind but my mind just gave out in light of the events described above.
