A Question of Honor

When Sen. John McCain was Capt John McCain, USN, he was expected to live by a code of honor, befitting an officer and a gentleman. This was also true when he was John McCain, midshipman. Now that Capt John McCain,USN,Ret, is John McCain, presidential candidate, he has discarded this code in favor of running a campaign of lies, sleaze, and gutter politics. So, in addition to impugning his own reputation, he brings disgrace to the United States Navy as well. I can only speak for myself, but having served honorably under that same code in that same Navy for 22 years, I am disgusted and outraged by his despicable behavior. He is, in my opinion, no longer fit to serve this country, MY country, in ANY capacity, let alone as the President.

2. How he has changed. I have absolutely no respect for him anymore.

What happened 40 years ago is in the past. Now he is a genuine threat to America.

I seriously wonder if he suffers from a diminished capacity to understand what's going on in 2008.
