Once Bush's approval ratings plummeted he started bashing Bush so some Independents, Democrats and Disillusioned Republicans may have come to view Lou Dobbs as Mr. Independent, not trying to peddle a certain party line. He even had his own "Independent Convention."

He was pushing Palin the other day while he and his guests were tearing down Obama.

When they thought Obama had knocked Clinton out early on in the primary race, you should have seen the expression on his face. It was priceless. So tune out Dobbs, he just another Republican manipulation.
