WTF is wrong with America?
:wtf:  is wrong with this country? Why is this race even close? Why are people so wussified and scared about terrorism? They should be more scared about the domestic terrorism being carried out by the Bushies!!

Open letter to the American public:

Wake up you stupid SOB's! Your RIGHTS are being stripped away as you cower behind your couch each time the color code comes across your Frig-gin TV!! The re-pukes are playing you like the Sheople (pronounced SHE - POLE)you are! Stand up to these Neo-Con mother f'ers and take back you liberties!!

"Liberty is not given. Liberty is TAKEN!"

:grr:

1. Two reasons-ignorance and fundamentalist religion.
The Repugs manipulate the ignorant through their control of the media, and the bible thumpers see the Republican Party as God's party. I don't know how the we can fight back against this.

6. I'd add a third: greedy corporate media conglomerates
MONEY controls the country. Those who have it have power, and they're working to keep both. The media has grown WAY too powerful, and the liars, hatemongers, "religious" Elmer Gantry's you mentioned, and BushCo ops and apologists are deliberately misleading the ignorant electorate.

They've also divided the country and inflamed both sides to the point of real hostility.

3. When I stop banging my head against the wall,
I'll give it some thought.

I can't take it much longer.

5. Bush shows strength because he toppled two pathetic armies?
The U.S. could topple 3/4 of the world's governments if they wanted to probably, of course not without condemnation, retaliation, etc. But they'd still be able to do it. Doesn't show "strength", just idiocy and belligerence.

IMHO, some people are just plain idiots, and are comforted by the fact that they have one of their own in the White House. They hate Kerry because he's more cultured, accomplished, and smarter than they are. Bush may be rich, but at least he's stupid and "down to earth". I couldn't think of a stupider or more selfish reason to vote for a president.
