'Obama takes double-digit lead'

Obama 52%
McCain 40%

This is the news out of Iowa, straight from The Des Moines Register.

8. That is funny to those of us living in the Des Moines metro area.
Not a cornfield in sight!

We are considered a rural state though so this is even better news for Obama. Lots of bubbas here and Obama still has a double digit lead.

23. Internals are looking real good and because Iowa has a White majority it is a great indicator...
for over-all national voter preferences. We should all be more confident in our chances this year.
