I'd like a New Mexico and Nebraska report/analysis.
I am one of those who sees Obama winning by keeping the Kerry states, but adding IA, NM, and CO.

Despite polls showing MN and MI tight, I think they stay Blue. CO should go blue and IA is solidly blue. NM concerns me.

Obama has an office in Nebraska so he can hopefully pick off one EV from the Omaha area. He'd get 270 votes if he keeps the Kerry states, adds IA and CO, plus takes one EV out of Nebraska. Are there realistic chances of taking one vote from NE?

1. Last time I saw the polls in NM
Obama was about 12 points ahead, but there are alot of latent cons here. In 2004 when I was registering voters in Santa Fe, I was truly surprised by the # of people registering as Republicans. I was totally floored when Bush "won" NM by 6,000 votes. In 2000 Gore won NM by less than 600 votes. The 6,000 2004 votes came, conveniently, from the conservative southern half of NM. Living in SF makes me think that Obama will win handily; I will try to get some real NM #s for you.
