I've been (really) bothered by this since the demonstrably false statement she made about Fannie and Freddie. Someone wanted her to say that specific thing. The phrase "useful idiot" comes to mind more and more. I'm sure Palin doesn't know mortgage corporations from a hole in the ground but whoever wrote that line does. They are deliberately inserting this falsehood in the dialogue, using Palin as a mouthpiece, so they can continue to privatize the fucking world. Meanwhile, this female George W. Bush thinks she's been sent on a mission from Gawd so she'll repeat anything her handlers say.

She's a "believer", in her own entitlement to power, and that Gawd has decreed it be so. She, like GWB, makes the perfect clean slate on which the neocons can imprint their agenda.
