KEEP IN MIND: Palin Had Access To the Questions BEFORE The Interview
Her handlers also had a say in what got edited out.

Either this is a stage presentation of how dumb she is, or she's even dumber than she appears.

McCain's campaign must be either trying to get the dumb vote or she is completely unteachable and uncoachable.

22. I agree. No way they let that happen if they knew the questions (n/t)

3. Is that true?
Gibson ruled out some subjects ahead of time, but it was just stuff like personal questions about her family (which would have been distractions) and her ties to the AIP (which unfortunately doesn't seem to have any legs).

4. The McCain people supposedly have been coaching her too
They must have started from scratch to get her this far. Either that or she is intellectually challenged.

7. Sorry, you're nuts
there's no way she had access to the q's prior to the interview, no way they were approved by the campaign; had that been the case, she wouldn't have been blindsided by 'Bush Doctrine', wouldn't have said 'I'd support going to war with Russia'...sure, she's not too bright, and obviously knows as much about foreign policy as I do about ice fishing, but she'd have to be a drooling moron to fuck up that badly with advance coaching.

20. We will never know. We won't know if she had a teleprompter either. It was staged.
No way ABC would allow her to be interviewed without help. As far as the screwups, could be she got out of sync with the teleprompter.

Figures. Maybe next time she can write her answers on the back of the desk in front of her.

9. EVERYTHING she says is scripted!!
I've been (really) bothered by this since the demonstrably false statement she made about Fannie and Freddie. Someone wanted her to say that specific thing. The phrase "useful idiot" comes to mind more and more. I'm sure Palin doesn't know mortgage corporations from a hole in the ground but whoever wrote that line does. They are deliberately inserting this falsehood in the dialogue, using Palin as a mouthpiece, so they can continue to privatize the fucking world. Meanwhile, this female George W. Bush thinks she's been sent on a mission from Gawd so she'll repeat anything her handlers say.

18. It's both. She's a useful idiot.
She's a "believer", in her own entitlement to power, and that Gawd has decreed it be so. She, like GWB, makes the perfect clean slate on which the neocons can imprint their agenda. Everything she said on ABC last night was neocon boilerplate. She doesn't know what the fuck she's talking about but she got their message out. And they'll work with her to tweak the delivery.

14. Berni, she did NOT have access to the questions before hand
This was addressed on MSNBC earlier.
The Mc/P camp told Charlie he could ask anything he wanted- nothing was off limits.

Her answers were just that shitty off the top of her head.
Yes, I am sure people were throwing one thing after another at her for days, trying to prep her.
But she didn't see that Bush doctrine question coming.
