Remember 2000 when Boosh evaded questions about military, drugs and failed ventures?

Boosh refused to answer those questions--the press did not pursue these issues and they will do the same with Palin.

Palin will pass through the joke of an election process that we now have in this country if that is what the Cons want--after all they, not the people, run this country. What's to stop them from putting Palin in office? The media? The internets? :eyes: The only thing that would stop Palin's coronation would be her refusal to continue to cooperate with Big Oil. And that won't happen.

So we have The Powers That Be prepared to select McPalin--and all they need is a plausible excuse for "winning" over one of the greatest and most hopeful candidates we have had in a while.

We can prevent muddying the waters with trivia that prevent people from seeing what are some very real problems with Palin--and allow people not to be duped and thus used as the reason for McPalin's "victory."

Personally, I don't give a damn if Palin holds her baby--or grandson--or not; and I don't think most Americans do either. I don't really care if Palin is christian or not--because there are too many religious people in this country who don't understand the impact of religion on politics. I don't care that she hunts or owns a gun--because I don't think most Americans will either and I don't think complaining about it will change them either way. I don't really care about the firing of her BIL--that's trivial and it gets in the way of more important issues...

What I do care about is her theft of tax dollars from AK citizens. She broke the law. I care about the secessionist and unpatriotic associations of her husband and church and I care about connections to supremacist groups--if that pans out. I care that her state has the highest rape statistics in America and she chose to charge as much as $1200 to victims (the alleged women who it is assumed support her).

There are only seven weeks before the (s)election(?). There are many more unknowns that will surface re: Palin and they will swirl around her until and after election day.

I hope that we can help keep the more important issues afloat while ignoring the trivialities that inevitably surface from our concerned counterparts.
