After seeing Brit Hume quoting Biden earlier tonight I thought I'd throw out my two cents for whatever it's worth.

I admit I was very disappointed he didn't pick her, but I got over it. Biden is a good pick, IMO.

If he had picked Hillary, McCain still would have chosen Palin, IMO. It would have rallied the base and all that. Grant it, some of the attacks, such as the lipstick and pig fiasco, probably wouldn't have happened.

The RW nutjobs would have just changed their tactics of distraction and destruction such as going after Bill Clinton or anything else they could find...no matter how ridiculous it may seem. They can't campaign on the issues anyway so they'll jump on anything no matter how idiotic it may be.

3. The only difference

would be in the debates, where you'd have one highly intelligent, educated, knowledgeable woman against an unintelligent, under-educated, un-knowledgeable woman. The difference would be striking and show Palin for what she really is, without being viewed as bullying her.

He was the favorite and is definatly good at talking trash and has 1000000000000 x's more experience then Palin.

They would not want to put Palin against Hillary on VP's, no way at all.
