I'm mad as hell and I'm tired of being polite.
Barack Obama is running a highly ethical, decent campaign. I'm not Barack Obama, though, and I've had it up to here with the Republican's filthy nasty underhanded lying weaselly scumbag campaigning. I've had it with the filthy corporate-owned media's collusion in these lies. I've had it with being pitifully grateful everytime some media whore actually makes some minor, insignificant nod toward fairness and actual journalistic integrity.

As a woman, a lesbian, a pagan, a socialist, and a FEMINIST I've had it with listening to fatuous crap about Sarah Palin. I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to hide it anymore.

If I want to call that bitch yes I called her a bitch any name in the book I'll do it! She's the whore of Babylon, drinking the blood of saints.

John McCain is a doddering fool whose brain has been taken over by subhuman mutants. Together they are the ticket from hell, designed to take us to hell, and I'm not going to keep my powder dry or be quiet or be polite or God forbid not say anything that might be construed as sexist!!!!! ohnoes!!!

On the way home from the dentist I was listening to Randi. So, Palin is going to do a photo shoot with Vogue, is she? Too busy to to work up an inclination to meet with the press and be asked questions from all quarters?

Oh, and she's a big tax cutter. But I also learned from Gloria Steinhem's letter about Palin that Alaska has no sales tax and no income tax. So Jesus K Rist, yardwork, I want her to go down and go down big.

Edited to add a brag that I gave you your 5th rec. Get thee to the Greatest!

16. This Is Why She Has No Real Executive Experience
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 04:51 PM by smb
Alaska runs on drilling royalties and federal subsidies. Politicians in Alaska simply don't have to make the sort of tough fiscal choices about taxinig and spending as politicians in the rest of the country.

Palin's claim of "executive experience" is as lacking as the "life experience" of a teenager who lives off Mummy and Daddy's credit cards.

11. The facts concerning the Republicans are decidedly "not polite."
It's "not polite" to talk about politics or religion at the dinner table, but unfortunately that's where they've got us. Right by the short hairs. We better get over our delicate sensibilities and start talking about religion and politics because the Republicans are taking us down with them.

that decrees that for instance we shouldn't say that those people in "Jesus Camp" (the adults) are fucking nuts!
No they are just nice people with slightly different views from ours and we will never reach out to them unless we are "respectful" enough of their crazy beliefs. If we aren't "respectful" enough then we are being "elitist".
And now Jesus Camp Barbie could be our president-it is insane. The whole world thinks we are insane.

Never before has reality's liberal bias been more in evidence than in this increasingly surreal election of ours. Yet here, a lot of people out there have swallowed Faux Noise's "Fair and Balanced" Kool Aid-it is pathetic.

22. Comment from a coworker at lunch today - everyone has their own opinions.
I said, "Well, their opinions are wrong." Look of shocked disapproval. I said, "Hey, these people want to change the Constitution of the United States to outlaw any religion except theirs. They want to overturn all the principles on which our country was founded to impose their own views as law."

I went on to say, "I don't care what religion they follow. Everyone in the U.S. has the right to follow their own religion. That's the point. That's what they're trying to take away from us."

My coworker had no response to that. She is, however, horrified by Palin and planning to vote for Obama.

15. The whore of Babylon is straight from Book of Revelation.
Tell me this doesn't describe Sarah Palin:

The “great whore” of the biblical book of Revelation is featured in chapters 17 and 18. Many passages define symbolic meanings inherent in the text:

17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

21. Palin clearly doesn't know scripture...
This would go right over her head with a great big "whoosh"!

Tell me one place in the Bible where Jesus told us to hate people! Show me one place where Jesus said we should FORCE people to follow his laws!

If God wanted to force us to do anything, he would have! Instead, he gave us free will. Palin and her blasphemous ilk are fucking over GOD! Who the hell do they think they are? Do they think God made a mistake by not forcing us into anything? Do they think God made a mistake by making brown people and gay people? Do they think God makes men RAPE AND IMPREGNATE women so a baby will be born?

They are fucking sick!

Thanks for making my blood boil, yardwork! You really know you are alive when your blood boils! LOL!!!

Love it! As a woman, I am offended by the kid gloves! As a woman, if I were running for VPOTUS, I would want to be treated exactly like the men are treated! Anything less is sexist coddling! I don't need coddled, dammit! And Sarah shouldn't need coddled either!

Where are the fucking debates? We are in the final weeks before the election, and WE THE PEOPLE have a RIGHT to hear ALL of the candidates speak WITHOUT A TELEPROMPTER!!!

20. That line about the whore of Babylon is straight from the Book of Revelation.
When Sarah Palin mocked Barack Obama for being a community organizer when he was 23 years old, I felt like she was defiling everything that is good and decent about our country. I've intensely disliked her since that moment. I have a strong personal loathing of her.

19. Woot!
The day after her big RNC speech, an "on the fence" friend of mine said he though she did a great job.

I went off. "You have to be kidding me!!! WTF!!! She's a damn lying whore!!!" :grr:

"Friend" was offended and called me out for talking smack about her. Then I spent the next 3 days educating him as to why I perceive her to be so dangerous and frankly, insulting to me as an intelligent white female.

I stand by my statement. She's a damn lying whore. "Friend" (who is a genuine friend) can eat mooseturds for all I care, if he's going to support that @#@)#$)#!!! ARGH!!! There are NO WORDS FOR HOW ANGRY HER NOMINATION MAKES ME!#@(*#@#@($&# SO MAD I'M GOING TO CANVASS THIS WEEKEND FOR OBAMA!!!!!

 Sorry, rant off

Did I mention how angry I am? :nuke:
