Lynn Sweet (Chicago Times) considers John Fund a reliable source??

On MSNBC today, Lynn Sweet said that the source for the story that the Obama campaign has thirty lawyers or researchers in Alaska doing op research is a reliable one, not known for spreading misinformation.

Uh, now we see who that source is. John Fund. Liar. Shit stirrer. Alleged perpetrator of violence against women. All around sleaze dog. From a WaPo story:

"The ad pins the swirl of Internet rumors about McCain's running mate to the Obama campaign. The reference to a mini-army was drawn from a Wall Street Journal column by conservative John Fund. A spokesman for the Democratic National Committee said yesterday that neither it nor the Obama campaign had any researchers or lawyers in Alaska."

Boy, that tells me a LOT about Lynn Sweet, reporter.
