Resitance is Futile
As most of you fear in your bones we're about to lose a 4th (counting Dukakis) election for the same damn reason. Our leaders seem to WANT to lose. Is there any way to stop this?

Republicans are like a spoiled child who wants all the toys and throws a fit when he/she is denied. Or to use another metaphor, they're like the Borg. No matter what happens they just keep coming. Trying to reason with them is futile.

They know they're lying and they don't care. They want what they want. They know they put an idiot in power for the last eight years. They don't care. They want what they want. They know that they apposed nation building tooth and nail under Clinton (done without losing a single American soldier) and approve of it tooth and nail under Bush. They don't care. They want what they want. They call Clinton taking a deficit and turning it into a surplus "socialism". They don't care, and they're lying, and they know it but they want what they want.

So why oh why do the liberals in power always offer up their hind quarters to the people who hate them when they run in the general election? Why do they seem so ashamed of who they are? (Thereby deflating the balloon and losing much of the left and a good portion of the center who view them as phonies for doing so?)

The human animal is genetically geared to favor a confident leader. Not an indecisive... I don't know...

Are you listening Barack Obama?

2. Obama is busting them in the mouth as hard as they've been licked
in a generation. Clinton kicked their asses too but he was skirting being progressive the whole way.

Obama has come to the fray as a progressive with balls.

TAKE THEM DOWN!!!
