On Hardball Matthews asked Bo Derek why she's a republican.

Her reply: Because I'm pro personal freedom (guess she hasn't heard of the Patriot Act etc.) and smaller government.

Matthews asked her about several other issues:

I can't remember the name of the guy giving a speech early at the start of the convention but, he was comparing * to Reagan. He said,
'His last name may be Bush but, his heart is Reagan'. Now I wonder what G.H.W. Bush thought about that. He was in the audience.

This convention is a joke. People are being lied to and shown a fantasy of the republican party. The real movers and players and their ideology are carefully hidden.

The RNC has a huge pile of ugly sitting in the closet that they are NOT PROUD OF.

They want to focus on this glorious nonexistent fantasy, and they've brought a lot of lipstick to put on their many pigs.

It's going to get positively nauseating before it's over, but that's exactly what they do best: lie, distort, misrepresent, alter facts, perjure, fib, bluster and anything but the truth.
