The Obama campaign may know exactly what they are doing!
McCain/Palin get a temporary bounce and what does Obama do?

He stays the course --- he stays on message.

Rather than come out wildly swinging in response to a blip in the polls, he remains Mr.Cool & Collected. If in contrast he were to come out swinging wild punches, it would even empower the bounce more than it deserves. No need to show fear or act in desperation.

I really believe the Obama team is on pace, this is a marathon and with 2 months to go they have established a winning record and temperament.

Obama has the capacity to unleash one hell of a counter-punch - even going for the knockout, but not yet. Better to let the pukes peak 2 months out, in the end - it's all about who crosses the finish line first.

That will be Obama....:)

6. I've watched campaigns fora long time
it's like a obsession with me, and I can say without a doubt that this is the smartest and best run campaign I've ever seen. Clinton in '92 was excellent, this campaign is being run better and smarter.

They know what they are doing, and I'm not going to question them at this point.

Obama will hit back, but he won't do it calling names, he'll do it while looking mcsame in the face. Grandpa won't know what hit him.

7. Absolutely. This is deliberate, calculated strategy. The right hook is coming.
Followed by a strong left very close to the election.

The goal is to keep it close, keep it steady towards the home stretch and then make the "surge" close to election time (next month).

This campaign is going to deliver a blow that the McCain campaign won't have enough time to recover from. I'll put money on that.

In the meantime, it is up to us to deliver a record number of democratic voters across this country to the polls and make sure those votes don't disappear.
