Palin Subpoena on Trooper-Gate "would be disrespectful" of VP candidate.
Does anyone else hear a huge backfire coming??

=============
Palin Won't Be Subpoenaed on Trooper-Gate
Zachary Roth - September 5, 2008 - http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/09/palin_wont_be_subpoenaed_on_tr.php

Even if she refuses to testify voluntarily, Sarah Palin will definitely not be subpoenaed as part of the Trooper-Gate investigation, Rep. Jay Ramras, a Republican on the committee overseeing the probe, just confirmed to TPMmuckraker.

Ramras said that issuing a subpoena for a vice-presidential candidate "would be disrespectful." He called it "inappropriate conduct, given the unique political circumstances," and "bad form."

............. Hollis French, the Anchorage Democrat who heads the committee .... announced this morning that the committee, made up of 8 Republicans and 4 Democrats, will vote September 12 on whether to issue subpoenas to other witnesses.

2. The fix is in. With a corporate ruled press, nobody will take them to task.
It will not ever end UNTIL we break up the BEAST that is the Corporate M$M.

7. This is fucking ridiculous! NO "inappropriate conduct" is what she's accused of!
What is WRONG with these people? Oh wait, they're republicans. Where is the media on this? Oh, I forgot, the "pundits" are just paid off mouthpieces for the GOP. What about the Democrats? Oh, I forgot, we're the nice people that always take the high road and trust that justice will be served. We saw how well that worked out in 2000.

22. Sarah Palin
as vice presidential candidate is disrespectful to the American people. We deserve candidates who are qualified. Putting this idiot up for president (which she has a better-than-even chance of becoming) shows absolute contempt for voters and the democratic process.

She talks about the Founding Fathers -- they must be rolling over in their graves. They never, in their wildest nightmares, dreamed that someone like Palin would become president.
