What am I missing about CM and KO?
Who cares if they are not on on election night? I mean really. They are both on every night and have good ratings. We have Tweety, Olberman and now Rachel on at 9PM eastern nightly.

I just don't see the need for for them to be on election night hosting the wall to wall coverage. I am going to spend my time getting Obama/Biden elected before I spend it boycotting for one night of election coverage.

If MSNBC takes KO, CM and RM off entirely that would be a different story.

2. That's the point. They're caving to the McCain campaign.
Complaining about the media is the oldest trick in the book, and the media should NOT give in to it. It's disgusting.

3. Fine with me too. They're not "reporters".... they're "journalists"
We'll hear their commentaries (for certain) on their shows.

9. I agree
I watch their shows for political commentary and for the left leaning views. I think their convention coverage was awful. KO and CM really don't work well together, I was almost embarassed by their bickering, non-verbal looks at each other, eye rolls, name calling (Buchanon and others), etc. It was really weird.

4. David "dances with rove" Gregory is not unbiased. I'd rather have one network
allow our voices to be heard. I can honestly say I'd switch to PBS rather than watch Gregory. His show is biased and so will his anchoring.

8. I have been looking for that 'YMCA' video where Rove and Gregory
were so pleased with each other, dancing away. Do you have that? Thanks. Kim

5. The election coverage
I can handle. It is debate coverage that has me concerned.

6. They -are-on election and Debate nights...
The ONLY difference is they don't act as host and ask questions of other people

11. Network anchors had quite an impact in 2000.
Faux declared Chimp the winner in 2000. It caused the rest of the networks to second-guess themselves.

He or she who controls the spin can control the outcome. Rove Rule #1.

There is no shortage of RW spin on all the other channels. Is it too much to ask that liberals have a channel they can watch without becoming ill?

13. The concern over which talking heads get to blather on TV seems really over the top to me
I watch so little of them that I don't really care.

14. And the debates. Gregory, the worst journalist on their staff...
Now has free reign to promote his BFF McCain.

And there is the principle that when someone shows a left bias, they are punished, but when someone shows a right bias (Gregory) they are promoted.

And it also seems that all the other hosts (like Mika) have gotten the message to "say nice things about McCain".
