Please DU this poll..... DAMN LOCAL NEWS
The stupid fuckin local news was trying to ruin my night tonight by reporting some jacked up poll results. They claim to have asked a number of people who watched both Obama's speech and McSame's speech... asking who did better issue by issue (economy, health care, education, etc)... and showing that McSame blew Obama away on every single issue. :banghead: FUCKIN IDIOTS!

McSame in '08 = Zombie2 in Canada

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DU this poll:

"What is your opinion of Sarah Palins speech at the Republican National Convention?"

13. I'm not near Ft. Wayne--
I'm dead center between South Bend, Ft. Wayne, Indianapolis and Lafayette. Out here in the boonies. We used to be the largest railway hub and interurban stop in the state back in its day. Lot of Irish and Italian Catholics here in this town. It's still pretty red, though. However, there are lots of old union worker families that are Democrats. I'm banking on all of our bigger cities with larger AA populations, the college towns to win it for us. Of course, we'll help here in the red counties, too!!! We're trying really, really hard! The demographics are changing! We have the largest Latino population in the state here, too! Times are a 'changin'!

5. Ugh....
For the past 12 or so years I was living in Bloomington (Indiana University)... I guess in a bubble. I recently moved back to my hometown...

I'm sick of hearing from my mother about all these cousins of hers that don't like McSame, at all... yet, they're NOT going to vote for a black man PERIOD. Oh, and my mom HATES McSame/Palin and everything Republicans stands for... sides with Obama/Biden on issues... YET, she still refers to voting for Obama as "the lesser of two evils".... YEP... RAAAAAAAAACIST!!

Sorry  I'm just sick of this shit!

10. The lat Lynching in America was in Angola Indiana, if I'm not mistaken...
I remember working in Fort Wayne at a radio station back in the late 80's and early 90's and thinking it was a world so different from Cleveland, where I lived, that it felt like traveling in a time machine...

11. Wow, sounds like Troglodyte-ville, if you ask me.
But at least it's a little less lopsided, if you consider that the "loved it" vote is now 60 percent and the "it was terrible" vote is up to 30 percent.

Here's my comment:

I never imagined that another American, especially another mother, could be so vile, mean-spirited, sarcastic, and mocking. My community organizer friends do WONDERFUL work, without taking any government money (it's through church-sponsored programs), and they really do help people - especially those who've been left out in the cold by Bush/McCain Republican policies. Didn't Jesus once say we should take care of the least of our brethren? And these people have the nerve to call themselves Christian...

17. Now... this is great news
Although, now that this poll no longer favors Palin, I doubt they'll report its results on the 11 o'clock news tonight.

Thanks for the help! :kick:

20. How about this one....
"As a speeker and Pastors wife, I find Sarah Palin to be refreshing and invigorating. You lose peoples attention when your speech is boring. Palin by no means was boring or displayed too much criticism of her apponent. I am from Illinois and I will vote for Palin and McCain. My husband is a former Staff Sargaent of the US Air Force and men and women with authority get more respect and more done. Palin is what this nation needs. McCain and Palin's agenda is to keep the government from raising taxes and watch their spending. With the already present HJR 192, we have enough to face with government manipulating America's funds. We need reform and we need it now! VOTE FOR MCCAIN AND PALIN! COUNTRY FIRST!!!!!"

21. Done, I also couldn't resist commenting
even though my comment will probably NEVER make it their page:

I personally thought her delivery was exactly what the GOP needed it to be: Cheerleading 101 on Volume 10 on the audiodial. She gets an A for that.

What it lacked? She never addressed any of the problems most Americans are dealing with; no health care; paying for a college education, lack of employment due to outsourcing; green energy/conservation and the fact that so many Americans have lost their homes or are on the verge of losing them.

She offered nothing in substance to address problems faced by REAL Americans and for that reason I must say that her speech was a complete and utter failure.
